The Magna Labs team had the pleasure of attending the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Annual Meeting 2023, held from November 1st to 5th in Washington, DC. This five-day event brought together over 8,000 scientists, clinical professionals, and industry leaders to celebrate the 75th anniversary of ASHG, showcasing significant advances in human genetics and genomics.

We were honored to present a poster on Miqa, our no-code, automated bioinformatic QA platform, designed to enhance the accuracy and reliability of computational tools used in clinical genomics. Our poster drew interest from bioinformaticians, computational biologists, and software engineers, all of whom shared a common challenge: the need for streamlined software QA tools to simplify the validation process of bioinformatic pipelines. Many attendees expressed that their current software validation processes are constrained by time or limited resources—a challenge that Miqa addresses through automated testing.

Our latest release, Miqa v1.3.0, includes significant improvements and new features, making bioinformatic software QA accessible to both bioinformatic and non-bioinformatic users alike. We aim to ensure that anyone, regardless of their level of software testing expertise, can evaluate their bioinformatic pipelines with ease.

If you missed us at ASHG and want to learn more about our bioinformatic test solutions, feel free to reach out to us at info@magnalabs.co!
