The Magna Labs team had the pleasure to attend the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Annual Meeting 2023 in Washington, DC from November 1st to 5th, 2023. This 5-day meeting brought together over 8000 scientists, clinical professionals and industry leaders to celebrate the 75th anniversary of ASHG, including the breadth of significant advances in human genetics and genomics.

We were invited to present a poster on Miqa, our no-code, automated bioinformatic QA platform to continuously improve the accuracy and reliability of computational tools used in clinical genomics. Our poster attracted many bioinformaticians, computational biologists and software engineers who all resonated with the need of software QA tools to simplify the validation process of bioinformatic tools. Many of them expressed major room for improvement in their software validation process which is currently limited by time or available resources - a prominent issue that Miqa aims to solve through test automation. Our latest release of Miqa (v1.3.0) includes major improvements and new features to make bioinformatic software QA easy for bioinformatic or non-bioinformatic users. We want to make sure anyone can evaluate their bioinformatic pipelines regardless of their level of software testing expertise.

If you missed our team at ASHG and would like to learn more about our bioinformatic test solutions, feel free to reach out to us at info@magnalabs.co!
